History of the L.A.M.A. Tampa Chapter
In 2005, Chapter Founder Johnny Urrutia's cousin Eduardo, who was the president of the Florida City chapter, introduced Johnny to L.A.M.A. founder Mario Nieves at the annual party hosted by the L.A.M.A. Orlando chapter, which is held every March in tandem with Daytona Bike Week. Inspired by what Mario had created and motivated by the great people he met that day, Johnny didn’t waste any time in forming the Tampa chapter. L.A.M.A. Tampa today includes members from all walks of life and continues to grow.
L.A.M.A. Tampa will be celebrating our 10th anniversary this coming February and members from other chapters throughout the nation will be there to celebrate with us on this milestone occasion in true L.A.M.A. family fashion.
Every year L.A.M.A. Tampa serves the community in which it resides by collaborations with the U.S. Marines Toys for Tots, Wreaths Across America, our very own Annual Heroe's Event , and many other causes which we carry near and dear to our hearts.
L.A.M.A. Tampa is not just another group of bikers. We're a BROTHERHOOD that is an integral part of the community we live in, work in, and love.
